Brett Favre & the Packers

Okay, I've waited long enough to post about the Green Bay Packers. They are off to a FANTASTIC start at 8-1, along with the resurgence of Future Hall of Fame Quarterback Brett Favre. The man who had alot of people telling him to retire after the last two years, came back & is the true veteran leader of the youngest team in the NFL. He continues to prove people wrong that he can still play football, while shattering almost every career passing record along the way. Anyway, the main reason I am doing this post, is because Brett was nominated for "FedEx Air Player of the Week". You get to vote for one of 3 candidates (including Favre) and the one with the most votes by the end of the week wins. Then at the end of the year if Brett Favre wins this award the most, FedEx will donate $25,000 to Children's Hospital of Wisconsin. So far he leads with 3 wins so far, but lets vote him all the way!!

This post is dedicated to my Uncle Dave & Aunt Julie, and in loving memory of my cousin Lillie. A couple years ago, my Aunt gave birth to their first child at Childrens Hospital, but she had a lung problem. She was only with us for 1 month before she left for heaven's shores. It was a very hard time for all of us, & Children's Hospital did a lot in the whole process. This isn't the only instance that they do a phenomenal work. By the way, last night Aunt Julie had Marlee Rachel Hartmann last night!! So congratulations Uncle Dave, Aunt Julie, Cousin Brodie, & Rudie (a very cute dog)!!! We're all REALLY excited here at the Klahn Household!!

Also while you're voting for Brett Favre, Packers Running back Ryan Grant is nominated for "FedEx Ground Player of the Week". Every vote is counted!!

I'll try & blog again today, cause I've got alot to blog about!!
God Bless!!
